  • Hons Degree in Fire Safety/Fire Engineering. Or lower second degree in Architecture /Engineering.

  • Professional membership or substantial experience.

  • Competency in English Language (i.e. completed first degree in English) or minimum level of proficiency in English Language equivalent to IELTS grade 6.5.

Programme Overview:

The Master of Science (MSc) in Fire Safety Engineering is a validated programme designed for individuals with a Bachelor’s degree in Fire Safety Engineering or relevant disciplines. The programme is offered as a one-year full-time or two to three years part-time study programme.  This comprehensive programme emphasises Fire Safety Engineering in the context of buildings and infrastructure preparing students for future leadership roles in fire-related professions. The curriculum encompasses a broad spectrum of skills and knowledge across various domains including fire chemistry, heat transfer physics, toxicity, structural engineering, legal frameworks, environmental impact assessment, risk management, and design principles. Graduates of this programme are well-equipped to meet the evolving demands of the fire safety engineering field.
